State History from a Christian Perspective (grades 3-12)

Our Student Booklet ($13.00) provides you with text, maps, and color state symbol pictures for your state.  The text covers history, geography, map skills, weather, industry, agriculture, major cities, citizenship, state and local government, and state symbols.  Students use this material to create their own personalized state history textbook, adding pictures and information from free tourist literature and optional personal research.  Quizzes, Tests, and Answer Key are included in the Student Booklet.  Our new Master Lesson Plan Book ($10.00) gives instructions for two project notebook options:

1. Using A Beka's My State Notebook ($8.50) (recommended for grades 3-8)

2. Making a notebook from scratch in a three-ring binder

Choose either option or teach both simultaneously!  The difficulty level may be easily and individually adjusted.  The Master Lesson Plan Book offers a basic 30-lesson course which may be easily expanded to a full year or more.  Independent Study Guides for 6 weeks and one semester are included, as well as a new 10-day guide for support groups or condensed study.

It is written from the Protestant perspective and begins with the early church. It chronicles the spread of the Gospel and the development of Biblical understanding in Europe and then in America.
